PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI SERVICE TRIP
March 30, 2017
by Rachael Russell
On March 25th, 2017 Style Saves team traveled to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to deliver donations to local orphanages for Hurricane Matthew relief.
Haiti remains one of the poorest countries in the Americas and one of the poorest in the world. After the Hurricane, parts of Haiti had faced complete destruction and were in desperate need of aide. Style Saves has consistently worked with local orphanages in Haiti and have been able to create a long lasting relationship with the people of Haiti.
Upon arrival to Port-Au-Prince, Style Saves was able to hand out donations to over 200 children at the local orphanage. Items included backpacks, school supplies, shoes, art supplies and other necessities. These kids all have the sweetest, most infectious souls and every single child was so grateful to leave with something. We’re looking forward for our next visit and to donate more supplies to all these inspiring kids.
