We would like to thank everyone who came to The Miami Beach Edition on July 17th to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Style Saves Swim! It was a night filled with luxurious fashion and an unbelievable amount of fun. Thanks to your support, we are thrilled to announce that we will be able to provide more than 2,000 students with clothing, shoes, prescription eyewear, and other essentials this year at our annual back-to-school event on August 22nd and 23rd at the Adrienne Arsht Center!
In case you missed the excitement, here is a recap of what took place during our annual fashion show fundraiser…
The enjoyable evening was kicked-off with live beats provided by renowned DJs Johnny the Boy, The Happy Accidents, and Brett Sylvia while attendees sipped complimentary cocktails provided by Wódka Vodka and refreshments by Perrier and Vita Coco. Guests were also able to snap fun photos at both the Wyndbooth photo booth and the latest animated GIF photo booth Phhhoto before the show began.
Once the ballroom doors opened, guests took their seats while famed DJ Mia Moretti started spinning for the three-part fashion show. The Insider co-anchor Louis Aguirre took the stage to host the evening and introduce the fabulous designer lineup. The models scorched the runway in swimwear designs by Kai Lanic, Calypso St. Barth, and iShine365 while donning show stopping hats by Regine Chevallier, ethereal pieces by Jaimie Nicole Jewelry, and cutting-edge shades by Goêt.
Attendees were also treated to a few exciting surprises during the evening, including an appearance from the Miami Heat’s residential DJ and active philanthropist DJ Irie. Swimwear gurus Christina Pino and Katrina Silva from iShine365 also decided to add an unexpected accessory to their chic swimwear: adorable and adoptable puppies from True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission.
After the show was over, the party continued in the Edition’s BASEMENT, a multidimensional entertainment hub featuring a nightclub, bowling ally, and ice-skating rink. It was truly an unforgettable night that provided lasting memories, and we cannot wait to do it all over again next year!
